Hello! My name is TheBurningBreath666 and I'm the owner of Aeterna Games | Æ.

I love to develope own games and use programs like: Mario Builder, SMBX, Lunar Magic, RPG Maker and more. Now I want to try Platform Builder too. At the moment, I'm working on a giant RPG Game called "The Desire of Infinity" with RPG Maker Vx Ace. I have already finished some games, but unfortunately some have been deleted or aborted... :/
This time, I want to make 1 or 2 games with Platform Builder. I have a lot of ideas, but I need the help of the Forum to create that, I think. ^^
So, I will be a new member of this Forum for a while.

It's a nice little Forum and I'm happy to meet you all! ;)

Nice to meet you! Do you plan to be active at all? It's not too often someone joins, then is actually active. Most join, make a few posts, then either never come on again, or don't come back on for months. Trust me, as a Platform Builder expert, I can help you with anything in PB. I'm probably the biggest fan of TingThing, and Platform Builder. And Stickmans Bad Luck. I'm working on the best project ever taken with PB. Called, The Adventures of Super Mike. I strongly suggest you check out this incredible game. You can find it in the "Works in Progress" board. I hope you make some awesome stuff! And thanks for choosing Platform Builder! It's a great tool. :)

Also, that's a nice logo! I started plain. How long have you been a game dev? I've been one since February 2018. I officially started my career then. I've become a well-known PB user. I make quality stuff. Also, you HAVE to check out Antikore's stuff. His stuff is THE BEST. Seriously. He makes stuff with superb quality. He'll likely respond to this topic soon. I can't use Steam, cuz I don't have any credit card to pay with, so I can't buy the pro version at the moment too... :/

I used to use RPG Maker VX Ace, but then I started to use RPG Maker MV, and my really first try of big game in my entire life was in RPG Maker MV.

I just want to do a level up system with stats, a shop and a inventory. A battle system like castlevania. I will make a post about it soon.

You shouldn't have any problem to do that even with other's that want to do something similar.  ;)

Not really warrior. And yes, Mechasaur DOES have pro. There are things you can do without custom sprites. Such as backgrounds, tilesets, etc.

As far as I know, Standard version doesn't allow custom tilesets nor bgs etc. So warrior is  correct

Actually, you're both wrong. Were you aware that titlescreens have their own text creators? And you have a selection of fonts. And that font matches one of the fonts. It's not a sprite, nor a background, nor a tileset. It's the text editor.

naah, we forgot. nobody denied that text creators don't exist.
as far as we know it, Mechasaur could make the ground with custom tileset, and those platforms with custom sprites. so, they're both right  8)

I am happy to see here even more new members although I hope you won't be that one from most the people who post only a little in a good case and will never come back. ::) I, however, think you even may be better than that considering all you mentioned being your activities with several toolkits, etc.
Also, as well this topic continued to act suggesting you to try something from other people then...

We had to arrange a special workaround since he wasn't able to use standard forms of payment on Steam. But we figured something out and I was able to get him set up.
