Post by: CGM on October 22, 2019, 09:40:24 PM: If we could import GIF's as sprites, what would that do? A LOT! Imagine! Giving visual tutorials without needing to explain what to do in boring, wordy text!

you can already make animated sprites. if anything, GIF only has 256 color palette, so it'd be a downgrade.
