EXE is going to be available very shortly. I have a buggy copy, that only has 1 bug, but it's enough to prevent it from being available right now.

The demo is excellent, as I tought. I first have tested the beta demo a long time ago, but it was buggy and really unenjoyable. But without bugs, I really enjoy this game. The only problem that I actually see is that there's some cringy sounds, like the checkpoint sound. But I enjoyed the demo, and my favourite part is where we have to break question blocks to go up and then bounce on ballons and gather wood and arrive with the bricks chamber and the cloud where we can walk. Also I think you should add DKCountry barrel level parts, it's one of my favourite 2d platformer mechanics in video game.

I visited the Explore section but couldn't find the new game. Could you give me its
title so that I can locate it and give it a try, thanks.

Gizgord is correct...And he beat me to replying. Anyway, just to let you know, Saiwong, this is a demo that might be a little challenging. It's the challenging version of Level 1 World 1 of my game. For more information, just click on the website link mentioned in my signature. It's right below the image with the game's logo.

I did "Check for Updates"  3 times but still nothing.

Strange. Are you sure you typed in The Adventures of Super Mike correctly in the search bar?

yes, I am sure I entered the correct search string.

see example below where I search using "CGM". The new game is not listed

Click reset filters. Those titles you found are both games I made a long time ago. Feel free to check those out. Well, I made the Super Auto Runner while another guy made the other. But it was published under my name. Thus the CGM (R). Search, "The Adventures of Super Mike" and see if it comes up then.

sorry, no joy. Can't see that game.

I am using Platform Builder Pro version 7.1.5

maybe this is a bug.

Best ask Ting Thing if he can't track down what the issue is

Yeah. This seems to be a bug. Tell you what, SaiWong. You can friend me on steam, and I have an idea to work something out. My name on steam is Christian Game Maker. Same as on here.

If you don't want to do that, we can PM on the forums. But I prefer steam.

Just to let you know, SaiWong, I sent you a PM. You may not have noticed it. You can read it in "My Messages" at the top of the forums.

I've finally manged to download the game, although there were some bumps in the road, I managed
to get around these issues with help from Ting Thing. Thanks.

With regard to the game, I see you have put a lot of effort in presentation, and your hard work shows.

I found the game initially confusing because of the change in role of bubble type objects. In Platform Builder, bubble objects are normally power ups types (e.g. higher jumps, shields, increase air), however, bubbles in ASM now act like "?" bump blocks. Took me some time to get used to this change. If game is provided in isolation from other Platform Builder games, it may alleviate the confusion to players

An issue I had was the placement of blue block spring and "!" bubble in same place.
Both use "Up" as part of their control and player may trigger wrong object.
Suggestion to use controls that don't overlap. Maybe for blue block spring use :  2 x down, or hold down

Also as shown in the picture below the character seems to end up standing in mid air

(https://i.ibb.co/cXFCjxT/mike1.png) (https://imgbb.com/)

In the secret area, there is a minor display issue of a red object (see below).
Also collecting all the coins in a secret area should be quick and fun. However, I needed to continually use the blue block spring... jump... pick it up.....place it elsewhere and repeat. This become overly long task and ended up somewhat of a chore. Maybe just have coins that player can
reach with normal jump so it is quicker and easier and more fun !!!

Thank you, Saiwong! ASM is a HUGE game. That level I crammed a few things in here and there. I've tried to be clear that ASM is not your typical PB game. After developing for almost 2 years, (the anniversary is next month) this is a tiny bit of the work I have to show.

Oh, and as for the coins, it really doesn't take much time. I have magnets placed that you can collect. Coins will just come to you. Easily. I hardly ever go there without a magnet.

What I would suggest is to place the magnet within the secret area for easy pickup and use.
Doing so will provide opportunity for players to be introduced to the magnet mechanics of
attracting coins and encourage them to look out for magnets in future levels.

That is what I did. You can use the spring to go through the green platforms where a magnet is located.
While on top of some green platforms, you can press down to go back down.

Yeah, he's right.
The only problem I may see is that for triggering spring we must press up and down at the same time.
If you play with a gamepad, you should get it.

The magnet was outside the secret area (on top of it) and can easily be missed.(I missed picking it up twice)

What I was suggesting was to have it easily accessible inside the secret area, so players can use it and understand how it works and will keep a look out for further magnets in later levels.

I'll get that fixed.

I downloaded the update today and noticed the following

(https://i.ibb.co/MgxXP9J/mike3.png) (https://imgbb.com/)

I think  the blue things are ment to be pipes but they seem to be rendered incorrectly. If so I
would ask Ting Thing to look into it

Also with regard to the blue spring block:

(https://i.ibb.co/fHSjss9/mike1.png) (https://imgbb.com/)

the large text seems to indicate button presses such as up, down, up, down, up, down
However, upon playing a little more I noticed that it works by holding down the up and down keys at the same time.

Maybe revise the text to : Hold Up and Down keys to spring into the air!

Also in this same area (but lower down) you have a triangle of blocks. Once a green ball shaped enemy destroyed the bottom left block so made it impossible to jump up to continue the level.
All I could do it kill my character and try again with next life. I suggest making the bottom blocks
unbreakable (or when broken, replaced by a solid block) so you always have ability to jump up blocks to higher level

Christian Game Maker's game is going to look really good. O:-) I have complained about it having too many effects and too simple graphics but I feel both of those have been balanced and improved with time now. Good work! ;)

Saiwong, that update is old. The text now says hold the use button that you have assigned. And I fixed all of those issues you mentioned weeks ago. IDK why PB isn't working properly for you. That is weird.

Thanks for the feedback Allar! That demo is a tiny part of ASM. The final product will be amazing. Thanks!

Yes, it is strange. Explore section showed an update to your game and I downloaded it. Odd that this is an old update.

I had to do several things to even get your game to display and ended up deleting all downloaded Explore section games to get your game to appear. I've spent several days re-downloading everything. I suspect that I might need to delete everything again in order to download your latest update  :-[

did you really had to do that, saiwong?
I'm thinking it has to do with how much space ASM takes (all custom graphics and music gotta add up), it maybe can't be read properly on Explore every time.

Yeah, ASM takes much data(it taken 2 minutes for me to download update)

It's a large game. The game itself is about 53MB. But that was after deleting TONS of stuff that's old and useless. Don't worry, all that old beta stuff is safe. I backed it up so it can be accessed later. At one point, it was 93MB.

Wouldn't be too surprised.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game to see if it could pickup the latest version, but it was unchanged
and had all the issues I mentioned previously.

There seems to be a bug in how PB Explore section identifies updates to games and which versions
to download. Since I downloaded a version that CGM said was old I would conclude that PB keeps
several versions of the game. Maybe it should only make the latest version available to download.
Maybe Ting Thing should look into this when he has time.

I appreciate the offer CGM, but I prefer Ting Thing to fix the issues with the Explore section
as it may affect other users and other games

I just posted a request in the Bugs section

Great. But in the meantime, you can go to the ASM website (link in my signature) and get the EXE.
