Title: Issues with Custom Tileset after using Tileset Champion
Post by: Aeterna Games | Æ on August 19, 2020, 04:52:04 PM
When I work with a Custom Tileset and used Tileset Champion to remove the red lines, the size or the position of the Tiles changes a little. So I needed to use separation 2 to get it work. After that, the decorations of the Tileset are one or more millimeters above the grounds... So someting about the Tileset changed a little bit. I don't want to place big decorations without the grid!

Example:
(I can't upload any pictures... It said: You have been forbidden to use this website.)

Hi Aeterna Games,

First I'd like to confirm that your separation and offset are set correctly after using tile set champion. When you upload a tile set into PB, and that tile set has been modified by tile set champion, make sure that the separation is double what you put for the buffer size, and that the x and y offset are equal to the buffer size.

So for example, if you uploaded your tiles to tile set champion and made a the buffer size 2, then in Platform Builder, the separation should be 4 and the x/y offsets should be 2.

If these are correct and you are still having problems, let me know.

I already found a solution, thx. I tried around a little until it worked. I just had no idea how to set it correctly in TC and PB.
Thx for that tips. I will use them in the future.

@TingThing
Maybe you can move this topic to working with PB or somewhere else. I think it's not rlly a bug.

That's not a bad idea.
