Title: How to use custom overworld backgrounds.

Hi, I'm new here, I've been wondering how to use custom overworld backgrounds I can only see 4 that are built into the game, but want to use some that are themed like city, space, sky, colorful etc, I know you can use custom backgrounds for levels, but cant find where custom overworld backgrounds are stored at.

there aren't any. the naming can be a little bit misleading. overworld 'background' is just one 32x32 tile repeated, it's not a singular picture. if you upload your graphic as a background, you can't use it in overworlds.
however, tilesets and sprites are available. so, to build a city you'd have to place every tile one by one; roads, houses and what have you
