I was thinking that maybe there could be more options for Ranged Weapons/Guns. Like, allowing the option to make the weapon aim in four or eight directions (instead of just aiming for where you are facing), and adding charge shots.

100% agree! I think on the old forums I suggested something like that. And charge shots is really cool! The way I would like to point and shoot is like in a Yoshi game. You push a button, then Yoshi starts to throw the egg. The pointer goes up and down in a curvy way. Then you have 2 options. One wait for it to get to the place you want it to shoot towards. Or press a button and the pointer stops. Then you shoot.

Thank you! That's a great idea as well, having an option for a Super Metriod styled ranged weapon, a Yoshi's Island styled one, or a normal one.

Your ideas are awesome too!

Thanks!

Hey! I got an idea. In 5.2 something I made I believe is going to be in it! A shirtless character skin for the character designer! I still have to fix an issue I just remembered for Ting Thing to use it. But, what if I made another one where the character stand gun attacks had the character's arm with the gun going up and down as if looking for a location to point. Then with this he could program the sprites to change as the mouse moves on the keyboard. I think some mouse gameplay controls for PB is something that should be in it. And if the mouse were to go behind the player, the player would just reverse the view. Of course all this would be optional. Or maybe the sprite sheet itself would would have another line of sprites for this. It's not in chumbuckets of course. But it could be modified for this!

That's a great control method! It would put the mouse to use while playing a game. For Xbox 360 controllers, you can use the right control stick to aim. Charge shots can be done by holding down a button, or a key. Maybe shots/charge shots can also be done by right/left clicking your mouse?

;) Excellent! I think that would be just right for PB. ;D
