Hello, I'm Antikore and I want to show you my last project. Platform Builder Wiki. It's in very alpha state but is good to read. Here you can see about many games and creators for Platform Builder. Anyways, that's not all. There are some games yet posted with too few info in it, but some games aren't there yet. If you want, you can contribute adding information or creating new wiki pages for your/other's games that still are not there. There are many wrong information, because I can't know about all stuff, but if you see something wrong, remember to edit the info and put it correct :D
IF YOU GAME OR YOU ISN'T THERE, YOU CAN CREATE THE PAGE AND EDIT IT FREELY! ENJOY!
PD: If you don't want your game or you, as creator, there on a page, I can delete the page! You're free to edit as long you do good for the community. :D

I always have though weird about sites where people freely can change every page comfortable way with no password and such. :-\ It takes less time for me and is more comfortable for me also but really there are a lot of kinds of people in the world and everyone can change everything from the Wiki!? ??? Even if someone rude wants to make some joke, for example, deleting everything to see if it will be successful?
-
If you don't register on Wikia when you edit a page your IP is shown, so you must register. And any edit you do can be undone even if saved the page, so, don't worry.
-
Any warning can be done anywhere, however, about how things are working... Because this may be bad in the other way. I have experienced a fact that I make a whole thing and then a message appears: "Sorry, we weren't able to post your details because..." and these kinds of things may be annoying also for them who don't want to harm your Wiki but consider with easy editing. ::)
-
:/
There are many wikis and works fine, I think this will not be bad. Don't panic
-
Bad it sure won't be. It was somehow interesting to search from there and read. I didn't comment about the overall looking. :) It is nice to see now, PB own wiki.
-
Thank you, I have now activated an option that requires logging in by users to edit in the wiki :D
-
That is much better. :) It is still possible to edit the Wiki without logging in but doing so will not erase my typed information immediately once I fail. :)
-
Great! But what about my wiki? Did everyone forget about it? I can transfer data from my website wiki to your wiki if that's the best way to go. This will be better also.
-
Don't worry. If you want you can do it. I just thought that Wikia wikis are better because can be edited by users to form a great community :D
-
Yes! But I have one problem. It forces me to share my age to join. :(
-
It's strange, I never saw that. If you want use a fake age...
-
This is fantastic! I just noticed it and I'm gonna make an account and add to it.
Edit:
I'm making a fake birth date too. You probably have to do that for Age Restriction reasons.
-
Ah. I see.
-
It's been fun adding new stuff to this wiki!
-
the wiki's fun. I hope more players will join the fun. :P
-
I sure hope so too! And it is fun!
-
Important Note: This wiki is focused to show people information about Platform Builder games, users, creators etc.
You can do topics for your games, for example, but please, don't do for stuff inside the games. Imagine PB Wiki is like Wikipedia with games. You know, Wikipedia shows off some games, but don't show specifical stuff inside games, there are game-own wikis for this function. Add your game, but not an enemy of your game. If you want to do that, you can create your own wikis too! :D :D
Thank you for your comprehension.
-
I understand that your note was made inspired by an update to your Wiki made by me... :D But you are wrong. Games inside the games have a lot of categories such as enemies, items and/or any other important things. Just watch this... You said we should imagine PB Wiki like a Wikipedia but here you can see... All bigger games such as Doom, Red Alert and more have special categories that lead to smaller parts which are more important, however. :) You can take my example here (https://cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Construction_yard_(Red_Alert_1)). We have no more important structures in PB that may need a separate page but we may have enemies.
Of course, you created a Wiki and you have full right to choose your rules but I find that because of free chance to edit this Wiki I have done nothing wrong with it so far. I may stop my activity when you specify your own rules but I may stop permanently also as long I find your rules are unreasonable. Just look more closely and you may find that a category for enemies may look quite a good, however, or prove that I have made some kind of mistake in some kind of reason! ::)
-
Yes, but...
I don't know...
Well, you can post there stuff inside games, but maybe they have to be very known or simply very important. Not specific stuff. Hope you understand this. For example, probably I can add John (from CC) to the wiki, but not Floppy Disks because floppy disks aren't as important as much. :/ If you see it correct, you can post stuff from your game :D
-
I find that The Gruppy Leader with the Metal Plugger is important enemies in Invasion: Going Personal enough considering you fight The Gruppy Leader in every world and after that, I finish my introductions it will be revealed also that The Gruppy Leader follows the main character even before his invasion begins. And the Metal Plugger is like a child by The Gruppy Leader which is a weapon for his with a helicopter being even more powerful than The Gruppy Leader. :)
I admit that characters, npc's and enemies would be too much for the Wiki but I didn't think about it then. Probably if I would update Wiki again then I would change an enemy to a character which has like a "Type: Enemy" tag. In your case, your John would be a character too but with a "Type: Player" for example. ::)

Yes!
-
Would about Mario Wiki? Every single detail is in there. Big, very big, small, and very very small.
-
Mario Wiki is about Mario, all about Mario. Platform Builder wiki is something about PB in general. Each game I think should have its own wiki, and there is all about the game.
-
I agree with Antikore this time and 100% for sure... I only can guess that although Platform Builder have found some public people still can't move on from Mario Builder. Antikore created a Platform Builder wiki, this is a Platform Builder forum and this is a topic that redirects to Platform Builder wiki. Should we add Mario page to a PB wiki and where? THIS IS NOT A MARIO BUILDER APPLICATION we are talking about!
-
I am fully aware. I was only giving an example. That was all. Not saying we should put Mario in it! I was only pointing out that the PB wiki could be as detailed as Mario wiki. That's it.
-
This is a good idea! :) I think one day that may happen because all of us can put our hand in it when others may be away.
-
I mean, if the normal Wikipedia do that, it should have each game in detail, and will, for example, add pages about all Geometry Dash levels, Minecraft blocks. But it haven't. I think Platform Builder Wiki should have pages about Platform Builder. Very specific things inside PB Games are not really related to PB, it's only related because the game in which that thing is inside is created with PB. I don't think that a GameMaker wiki, if there is one, will explain souls of Undertale, for example.
-
I see. But, I don't see why we can't have stuff about our games. Why don't you make an "exception"?
-
It has 3 reasons, hope you understand:
1.- I want to create my own wiki for each game made by me.
2.- There can be a lot of repeated names on pages and will be a mess.
3.- It's my wiki, my rules. (Acting like a militar leader is NOT my intention.)
Note: You can add stuff of inside your games if they are significative in PB or in the game itself, that's the exception. You can create your own wiki too, it's free and I will love to see it with your game in depth.
Sorry if you don't like this idea, but, I think will be good for all, the wiki, the users, and the editors.
-
Why not make a wiki that looks like Wikipedia? I know of a good way to do this. And best of all, it wouldn't have all of those trending articles that bother me.

If I understand this conversation well then... You created your Wiki but you also added users and their games that are related to PB in it. We gave our contribution to update your pages and this was done after that you said you may not be accurately describing our games enough.
I, for example, am not very good at making a synopsis and all that stuff like "a little", "not too much", "exception if our stuff being really important" are really subjective depending on for whom. I don't know from where it begins "a little" and "too much" for example. Anyways, I spent a lot of hours to make my pages for IGP. Right now, Castle Chamber have still much more info in your wiki than my game or a lot of others created.
If you want to create rules you always can modify your wiki or any page by yourself and depending on how you wish. We or at least, I am not a clairvoyant to see how we can edit your wiki, how not and where and when exactly we are going to cross the borders of importance and non-importance and I even am not going to waste my time on focusing this. If I am making modifications I will do it as I see it should be done or you can make your changes by yourself!
-
Don't see me as a bad guy. You don't have to be a clairvoyant or anything else, you can add information of whatever you think is important.
Use these criteria, for example:
- The thing is important or significative in the game. (If you think so, add it.)
- The thing is very common to see it in the game.
If the Metal Plugger and the Gruppy Leader are important in the Lore, is ok. Your protagonist can enter as well.
Don't get angry, please. This community has to be soft.
-
Your not a bad guy, we just didn't fully understand the rules. And that was what I was trying to do. Keep only the major stuff in.
-
Ok, new rule: Post whatever you want.
-
Hmm... I wasn't expecting that...

No problem. :) I may strive to misunderstand the motive of people actions but thank you for explaining!
Probably, I didn't understand the reason for this conversation because none here haven't made any pages nor content for Doom, Red Alert or about any other thing not related to PB. I felt somehow pushed back because you were going to describe things about making an enemy page and I knew that I was the only one who formatted my game page like this. I mostly try to accept rules in the sites but I don't think I am ready to work for content in sites made by other people considering my time limits. I would use my own things to advertise my own game and following the rules I find to be right because this is my priority to show some information about my own game. I found your Wiki for that and I thought why not at least for now... It is not important who made it.
I think you decided properly to give us more freedom in your rules. :) I promise, I am not going build some kind of Team Alju5 stuff nor default blue color for your Wiki. :D Every kind of work made by me and not related to PB may be mentioned but shortly as possible and in the one main page for an author.
-
I just want to write stuff that is general PB stuff, and stuff related. (Such as our games, and game contents.)
-
I keep forgetting about this wiki!
