A download counter in explore section will be cool, also will be awesome a like and dislike button etc.
-
That is what I also have thought a lot about. :) Yes, people can leave feedback to the forums but I think there are still no much users in it but they still may use PB. And some people have nothing certain to say about the project nor time for this but may think quite a well about it...

I like this idea. We'll see what Ting does.

Well, he hasn't done anything yet...

There is a lot of stuff I would like to see happen in the explore section, but having a download counter, comments, etc. would mean setting up a way for the server to constantly interact and update the information. With a lot of work I might be able to pull it off, but it would be tough for my skill level.

Oh. Well, it would be cool if you had a team... For a single developer, you sure have probably beat most developers with your skill.

I think he beats if not the most then at least a lot of developers even now. ::)
I remember my parents bought a little game creator that was made specially to allow children making their own games. There was for sure something to touch but it had like 5 themes for making levels, some monsters and some very big blocks. And physics... I know I didn't get bored because I am not a child but because it was too limited for me.
A company that makes those games earn quickly much more than TingThing in 5 years but I just compared Platform Builder and something that I mentioned to make an example because it was some time when I also knew and used PB. There are a lot of games and applications in the world with bugs and glitches or that are too limited for my needs and they ask money even before I can test if this can do something I want.

I think it's not as hard, at least a download counter is not very complicated. If you can put a description on a published game, you can do also this, the only hard thing is to get updated constantly. Comments also will be great, and a rating system.
For me, there are 3 main rating systems:
YouTube style: Likes and dislikes
Twitter style: Only likes
Geometry Dash style: Likes on dislikes and the rating counter is based on the formula (likes - dislikes)
