In other words; What is your useful Tip, Trick, Hint or in general, a good advice, when building a platformer using this engine (or game) that hasn't been known by many builders? It can be either building life hacks or gameplay life hacks.

Well, the best I can suggest is you could possibly look through the "working with Platform Builder" board for interesting information. It's kind of hard to give that kind of advice because PB can do so much, and it'd be easier to give a more precise answer if you could narrow down stuff. PB has so much, newcomers should just test everything in PB, and do some more testing. I learned PB just by doing experiments. That's how I learned.

If you have the UPE, you have the possibility to fix the many problems of PB. otherwise, just experiment.

You don't need to make fun of PB's bugs. It has one developer, and for one developer, it is very good.

Im not even talking of the bugs. I am talking about the fact that TingThing never take any suggestion and most of the time never adds basic features.

Well, I can't say you're completely wrong, but it's not like TingThing is the leader of a team like Mojang.

So why he's not making a team to develop PB?

The most important tip I should tell you is:
Is better an optimized and polished simple game than a dirty extremely-overfeatured game.

Oh! You could read my article I wrote sometime back:

Here are some:
- move your camera with more control by pressing down the mouse scroll wheel
- toggle game size with F11 (zoom in) and Backspace + F11 (zoom out)
- press F1 to take a screenshot
- hotkeys (for item boxes) are very handy, you can write them by hovering over a desired item and pressing 1-9 or Shift + 1-9
- when moving huge chunks, zoom out in the editor and perform Move while holding Shift (doesn't work with expandable tiles)
- copy items instead of searching for them if they're somewhere near you
- semi-solid platforms work nicely as pillars, just expand them one block above the ceiling
- checking on Coordinates, Test Mode is not neccesary, but can be helpful. You'll find it in Game Setup > Other Settings
- useful shortcuts:
Z - Smart
C - Copy
M - Move
G (hold) - Snap to Grid
L - Level Manager
Q (hold) - Faster camera/assistant
E - Edit
R - Free
U - Menu
I - Item Box
P - Game Setup/Stop assistant - change some sounds effects if you're not happy with default ones. It's in Game Setup > Sound Effects
- remember to insert these brackets {} if your command strings don't work
Example:
delay 10
{
hp+3
sfx=3
}

I'm proud of Gizgord, but ashamed of myself.
