Castle Chamber [Alpha 0.3.4]

"Meet John. He was baking a cake his Sunday, after 9 hours of hard work, and multiple half-hour breaks, he was ready to taste it, but for his surprise, it was stolen by a guy named Dr. Theodore! Dr. T. left a note in the crime scene with the way to reach him and retrieve what it's yours. You need thaaaat cake"

Hi! I'm Antikore, this post is about my new game/side project: "Castle Chamber". As my main game was bugged and has to be fixed, I started this new game. This game gives you the experience that a very hard 8-bit game can give you: very detailed, custom tilesets, puzzles and also some trolling etc.

This game explodes a lot Platform Builder and does a lot of stuff with command prompt. It has 1 world, 1 boss and 7 levels, but it will have 4 worlds with 7 levels and 1 boss each one.

You only have 1 health, the player has infinite lives and will retry from the start of the level it died, but if you quit the game, when you return to it all progress will be lost, be sure of what you're doing. you only can save after worlds, be sure of what you're doing.

Tilesets and sprites by Shikaternia, Platform Builder and me

Steam Achievements A good way to make platform builders active is with achievements. Platform Builder is in steam considered as a game, like any other game, and probably it can have achievements for the program. Here is a list I think will be cool achievements:

Legend: Name // Description // How to do
- Let there be light // Create your new and flammable overworld // Create 1 overworld.
- Pathway Maker // Create a level for your game // Create a new area
- Lab Monkey // Test your level to see how it works // Press the test button 1 time
- Compulsive builder // Place over 1,000,000 objects in all-time // Place over 1,000,000 objects from the start to now.
- Otherworlds // Play an explore section's game // (Description)
- Build, Play and overall share // Share your game to explore section // (Description)
- Crash Tester // Die 1000 times in all-time // (Description)
- Postmortem // Health bar is 0 but you don't die // Use the command prompt of player's death to change your health to any other value than 0 and then use it.
- Sleep with fish // It's beautiful, see it, blueish as the sea... // Die by lack of oxygen in underwater.
- Stay tuned // Update another's game at explore section // (Description)
- Professional Questioner // Get all the possible assistant messages in all time // (Description)
- Programmer // Place over 1,000 command blocks // (Desc.)
- Teleporter // Use any website link on the main menu // (Desc.)
- Jukebox Keeper // Change your title music // (Desc.)
- For example... // Finish the Platform Builder example file // (Desc.)
- 1 is good, 2 are better // Play a co-op game // (Desc.)
- Brainbath // Stay 10 minutes READING at the EULA page // Stay 10 minutes at the EULA page, but you have to move/scroll at least each 1 minute.
- Architect // Place over 50,000 blocks // (Desc.)
- 24/7 // Keep the game opened during 24h // (Desc.)

These are ideas, you can suggest your ideas too and I will suggest some more. Now it's time to sleep. Bye!

Space Invaders Remake I think I have passed the internet and I have passed Platform Builder.
Here I present to you:

It's a very hard work that makes a game very very similar to original space invaders. Note: It can be laggy due to high timeline & animated sprite use.

- In the main menu:
   - (Jump button) to quit
   - (Attack button) to play
- In the game:
   - (Attack button) to attack, obviously
   - (Jump button + Down) to return to the main menu
There is no way to enter platform builder pause menu from the game, so, you must remember this controls to quit without using Alt+F4.
If pressing the button once doesn't work, hold it a few seconds until the game reacts (Timeline limitations, sorry :/)

I will post in this topic some screenshots and videos when the game finally published to the explore section.

Report me any bugs you see on the game, obviously, there are very complicated ones that, due to Platform Builder limitations, I can't fix them. (There are some actually.)

My record: 2680 points. Can you beat me?

Have a good day and bye!

Pong Remake
Pong Remake
Hi, there! I have created a pong in Platform Builder, just like the original.
Note: I'm still working on it, but in a few days, I will publish it as complete. That's the reason because I put it on the complete games section.

You have to configure your own controls.
Controls for player 1:
- P1 Up: Player 1 up
- P1 Down: Player 1 down
Controls for player 2:
- P2 Up: Player 1 left
- P2 Down: Player 1 right
When the game ends, you can press the jump button to quit, if it doesn't work, hold the button until it works.

Like tennis but virtually. The first player to get 8 points wins. Due to PB limitations, there is a time limit of 20 seconds per move, if it reaches that time, the bullet will return to the middle and try again, but doesn't something awkward.

I haven't encountered any bugs yet, if you find some, tell me via PM.

Thanks to JapanYoshiTheGamer and Deleted_User_877451 for their great sound effects!

Enjoy with your friends :D

Ghawst's Corridor (formerly The Dungeon)
Ghawst's Corridor

So, yeah, I'm making another game, huh...
Well, this game seems to be fun and addictive so I think its somehow ready to be played.

This game is a dungeon, hard-platforming game that consists passing through rooms generated randomly. The objective currently is to reach the furtherst as possible. You can also collect coins, money-bags, diamonds etc to buy upgrades for your characters, or get new ones.

The game was published yesterday and my DG friends mainly played it. It had password.
Today seems to be unpublished and I can't update the game again, so I'm asking to TingThing to fix this out:

Re: Demon Hearts
I'm very sad to say this, and I never ever thought I'd have to say this, and I never intend to hurt anyone's feelings for the games they make, I've never said this before, and it hurts me to say this, but I will not be playing this game. Let me explain. I am a Christian. I do not play games which have so many references to the occult, demons, etc portrayed in such a realistic way. This is not my kind of game. From what I can see here, this will not be a game I will be recommending. @Aeterna Games | Æ I'm not wanting to hurt your feelings, but I will not be playing this game. Please understand I hold nothing against you personally, but as a Christian, I do not feel right in playing it. That is my belief. It's a personal conviction. Please do not take this statement as me having anything against you. I just will not be playing this/recommending it. Thanks.
Well, its just a game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Still, its understandable if you can't play due to that. I'll personally at least try it out in your place because, as far of stuff he show up before, it seems will be a very good and polished game.

Re: Demon Hearts
wow. well, you got yourself some extensive lore for a PB game... I like what I'm reading. ;)
this looks like it'll be yet another big project. question is, are you actually going to finish it? or for that matter, produce a good-enough beta for us to still enjoy? I don't want to discourage, I just have my doubts.
Hopefully he will finish it.
