Patch 5:

  • Fixed: Camera Lenses were causing problems.
  • Fixed: Collected items stopped displaying on pause.
  • Fixed: Some things were no longer centered on the screen.
  • Fixed: Occasional error when constantly changing the character with items.
Patch 4:

  • Pro users: Please use the new button to request a Steam key on Pro.
  • Character designer is setup for new features coming in 5.4
  • Color selection tool is easier to use
  • In most situations, Platform Builder will ask you before opening an internet browser.
  • Fixed: Restoring a backup sometimes fails
Patch 3:
  • Fixed: Some custom item settings are misplaced on the screen.
  • Some work has been done to help with the saving and loading of managers.
Patch 2:
  • Fixed: Explore section doesn't always display games correctly.
  • Fixed: Button placement is off when selecting slots
  • Improved look of wall jumping with 3D tiles.

  • Updated example file with small fix.
  • Fixed: Messages were not working properly
  • Fixed: Error when finishing a course with invincibility.
Updates:

  • Platform Builder is now wide screen.
  • The HUD has been redesigned.
  • Added a new feature to give the tiles a 3D effect.
  • Added option to force 2D tiles in main menu (for slow computers)
  • Added a new setting for custom projectiles to return straight to the character or enemy that shot it.
  • Added a command to change the maximum money.
  • HUD has been moved to the top corner of the screen.
  • Added a very close view distance setting.
  • Because of the new aspect ratio, the default view distance is medium instead of far.
  • The minimum distance for course and World boundary arrows is based on the view distance.
  • Test Mode can now be used with Sandbox levels.
  • Replaced Crystallize view lens with a mirror effect.
  • Updated example file to suit 3D tiles.
  • Some sprites and tiles have been slightly updated.
  • Invisible jump-through blocks are now on the same "layer" as other jump-through tiles, so they can be placed over more things.
  • Added ground patterns as background or foreground decoration (See their use in Course 4a of the updated example file)
  • Fixed: Uploaded backgrounds which vertically tile do not work with vertical movement.
  • Fixed: Pipe openings are not solid.
  • Note: Due to recent changes in the camera, please review that you have the desired distance setting for your views in the area settings.
  • Note: Due to recent changes in the aspect ratio, please update your game screens. This is especially important for games that you have published.
