Version 1.0 Updates:
- Platform Builder is divided into Lite and Pro versions
- Added sprite option in Game Setup to let the user upload his/her own sprites (Pro Only)
- Added 10 new enemies with special abilities and/or unique movements.
- Added 20 new sprite options in custom enemies
- Added new pipe pieces that let the character warp between areas
- Added a fireball hazard that comes out of lava
- Added a "spark" hazard that travels across walls
- Added a 3D effect to backgrounds which can be disabled if desired
- Added option in course to disable endless pit falling
- Added bridge base end pieces which can be placed over the top edges of solid ground
- Added a couple more grayscale item sprites to help with colorizing custom items
- A new example file features many of the latest items and features.
- World/Area name display can be disabled in Game Setup
- Moving platforms work better with arrows and can take sharp turns
- Improved a couple background images
- Improved Gruppy sprite
- Improved Sparr sprite
- Improved Spike (enemy) sprite
- Increased functionality of managers
- Gameplay data has is encrypted
- Character has a second subpos option to change the direction the character starts facing
- Shift key will cause "copy" and "move" buttons to only go for the item selected in the workstation
- Enemies can stand on falling blocks before they start to fall
- Permanent items will never re-appear once they are attained
- Improved the selection buttons in the title screen editor
- Item blocks and message blocks are activated by ground pounds and explosions
- Character in pipe can travel "behind" other solid objects and perpendicular pipes
- Item Blocks and Chests will now be empty if no item is placed in them
- Hotball will start moving toward character and is and moved into "Hazards"
- Save reminders are more frequent
- Made it easier to jump off enemy or spring if character can hover/glide
- Hold "G" to temporarily switch the grid placement to 16x16
- Moving Platforms will continue to move after they are off-screen
- For dark courses: light for flames and character have been increased
- Candle Flame does not harm the character anymore. You can use invisible harm blocks if you wish
- Fixed a glitch with character dying after teleporting
- Fixed fatal error message with custom pick-up items
- Fixed a glitch with completed level icons not loading properly in overworld
- Fixed issue with game freezing when character is pressed against a wall
- Fixed image placement issue in the manual
- Fixed many more issues with collisions, enemies, physics, etc.
