Feature to adjust a background with a course
« on: August 04, 2018, 08:33:07 PM »
Sometimes it may be necessary to start building a course at 2 squares up from the bottom just to add some hidden CMD objects under the course for a certain pit allowing to move another course instead of killing. If doing this, it may leave out some part of a good background from the course.
My suggestion here is to add an option to adjust background with a yellow up arrow so we would be able to leave an impression we did not change any position of the view for some additional triggers. :)

Yes, it is possible also to add a rule that running far to the bottom moves to another course but I often prefer to give this option only for a certain pit for different kind of ending or secret at the middle of course.

You could try invisible command blocks that give a slight delay in a timeline before changing the course. Make it delayed so that the character has some time to fall through them, but not too late that the character dies. You would have to run some tests to get it right.

By the way... :) That's a good idea. I should try this.
