Custom Tileset - Visible Ground

Sometimes the character can stay on Custom Tilesets or above them in the air, without placing any solid blocks or something. This only happen when I move them around.

Interesting. I'm not seeing this happen at all on my end.


And "ground behavior" is not checked for these custom tilesets?

No it's not.
I can show you if u want. Unfortunately I can't show photos anymore. Should I send u my backup file? Just jump over the skeleton at the start and the skull. There are two points in the area where u can fly.

Looking at your game file, I'm noticing that a couple of your tiles are placing invisible solids as if they were ground behavior tiles. But they are not. My guess is that at one point the "ground behavior" box was ticked by mistake, and those tiles were placed down. Then you turned off ground behavior, for those tiles.


At this point, Platform Builder does not update tiles like this. But if you delete them and replace them, it should fix your problem.

I‘ve definitely never touched ground behavior. I needed to do this map 3 times cuz the issues with Tileset-Champion. It happened everytime, but only with the skeletons and skulls. Yeah, I can remove it and place them again, but it’s not a easy placing them correctly without moving them around for design the level well, cuz I need to work with the free tool sometimes. On my second map, it didn’t happen again for some reason...

Yeah it still happens. I can stand in the air some pixel over the tilesets. There is no ground behavior or solid blocks. It’s random. Sometimes it doesn’t happen, sometimes it does. It’s rlly strange...

Okay, I did a change to have it double check the tile ground settings every time you load it. The solution worked to fix those tiles in the game file you sent me a while back. The change will be available in the next update.

I need to test it out in 9.0 first.

Whoops, my mistake. I thought the fix rolled out with PB  9, but apparently it's still in queue. It will be released on the next update which I expect to have ready - hopefully - by the end of the day today.

It’s finally fixed now, great job!
No visible grounds anymore, even the crashes stopped when u move custom tiles around. :)
