In the .exe key mapping doesn't work properly
« on: August 01, 2021, 08:56:11 AM »
At least for gamepad, if you change your controls, the button you set and the button you have to press for the action to work is different. For example, if I set firing to RB, I may get the triangle or stuff like that
Sorry because my English is not very good because I'm Spanish ;) :P

I tested using the built-in controller binding and with the controller binding commands on your game Mortal Theater. I did not notice any problems in the .exe. Am I missing something?

It's possible that the issue is because the controller works differently than the standard X-box controller. A, B, X, and Y buttons are not always the same between different controllers.

I think it worked fine before but, when my friend played, he mapped the keys but the buttons were different at the end.
Then I tested and I remember to have a similar issue.

And it's happening specifically for shoulders and triggers, its likely to be his controller but as I remember to have somewhat a similar issue just afterwards, I'm doubting

EDIT:

Ignoring bad grammar, literal translation:
R1, L1 and the triggers
Well, L2 worked but R2 made the debug hud appear when I haven't mapped it on any button
