In PB 5.0. A most amazing thing was created. Command Prompt. Probably the most amazing feature ever developed for PB. A button and Menu creator would not be hard to make at all with command prompt. Imagine. A new button in Game setup called "Custom Menus". It would have a regular manager. When you make a menu, you can have the option to upload a background and edit the text of the menu. And somewhere, you would have a button to create a button. How do you program the button? With command prompt. You click the command prompt button right next to the button (the room would be like the timeline editor) and you enter commands so that you can tell it what the button does when clicked on. How do you tell it to execute the menu? In every area, you can edit the settings with the wrench icon. You can use the command prompt but to in there to tell it what menus it can run in that area. In the pause menu, it would add that menu to the list of things to click on. Therefore showing your menu! You could make multiple choice questions, make level selectors, and more! And of course they would have id's so that you can call up the menu in timelines and such.
And some more features to add... I would like Ting Thing to create commands so that if a character has or has done something, then it executes another command. Like "if" the character has collected an item, then it will do something. This would be useful. Because, you could use this button creator for a store creator also. EG: If a player was to collect a projectile item, then the button would appear, or turn from grey, to light meaning that it can be used. If the character didn't have the item, then the button would be grey colored. So, if you bought the item, then it would appear in the store. In the custom items section, I would make a box where you can select weather or not it appears in a menu. And if so (if checked) a box or something would appear and allow you to select what menu it can appear in. In the menu creator, you would be able to tell it how many times you can use the button before it turns grey. And how it can be used again. So, if the character ran out of bullets, you could just pause (if you collected 2 of the same item) and go to the menu and use the backup item. If you like this suggestion, and think it should be in PB soon, in the near future, comment!
