Option to setup default controls in a game.
« on: October 19, 2018, 07:08:08 AM »
This sound stupid but the default controls in Platform Builder are hard to control. Why not add an option to select the default controls the player will see in a game when it starts from the first time! :D
Sorry because my English is not very good because I'm Spanish ;) :P

I don't think this is necessary.

Really? You just don't have friends like the ones I have... :D
They use the Ctrl as jump default!

I use shift for jump. Arrow keys for movement, space for attack, ctrl for item pick-up, alt for item use.

Hmm... I assumed I was the only one who used arrow keys. I know that most people use WASD.

Depends on the game and the quantity of controls it has.

Also, WASD is more often in 3D games!

Don't forget that you can use Gamepads! If you have an Xbox controller with a USB port, you can play your games with that.
