Remembering our old forums...
« on: March 12, 2019, 08:17:26 PM »
I know... It seems silly to remember our old forums, and only a few of us remember them. But, it was really a cool thing in my mind... There were really 4 really active members. There was me, Alley, Seggaw, (who has now completely quit PB) and Ting Thing. There were other non-active members some of which moved here but still either never posted anything, or posted some, but not a whole lot. It was fun back then. Much like it is today in these new forums. I had only been a member there for 1 month when we moved here. It's nothing super big, but it's at least some history of PB. If you wanna know what PB was like back then, well then here you go. There was no:
Command Prompt,
16:9 screen aspect ratio,
custom blocks,
custom menus,
not as many invisible blocks as we have today,
not much in the way of custom sprites, (only character sprites were editable)
and a lot of other stuff that we take for granted today wasn't in version 4.1. Which was the last update announced in the old forums. Anyway, this may seem like a silly topic, or boring, but I just wanted to share these memories about the way PB was way back when.
