Oh, and ASM is a little difficult, but it's easy to beat.

Well, I can't say that I am an expert for Mario series but I have done a lot of more playing Mario games than building Invasion: Going Personal and I always can beat my whole game in some hours later if just keeping going in the same time when there are only 1-2 times when I have passed SMB1 even. I know that SMB1 have no much obstacles nor too difficult levels otherwise but it has quite a difficult physics to handle in the same time there are also only 3 lives and no much items to collect lives back soon enough. The fact that I always must start from the beginning on again I am often not able to beat this game in a fair way. I have beaten SMB3 but only by saving and loading from an emulator that runs from PC. Mario Forever is easy for me although it has much more tricks and advanced enemies but it has very nice physics for me. However, Mario Forever is one of the few Mario games I can beat and only from the storyline section.
If you say you are not satisfied with the physics for Mario Forever then it is probably quite a pointless to argue about a difficulty because of this may be something to do what physics you get used to. I must admit that when I was going to make bosses on Platform Builder then even making them a bit more advanced caused me to have very difficult times to beat them but by checking out several features, testing, trying new things and creating those bosses I probably also learned about how to play.

So just if you were dogged enough to learn how to play Mario games then also feel free to learn how to play in Platform Builder. I know, it is not a Mario game nor for creating old more popular Mario games that people got used to playing because of what probably Platform Builder is not that popular also but you will not regret because watch, Platform Builder is actually a much more powerful game creator than Mario Builder already.

If you see an updated version of my game then you can say what do you think about it if not considering its difficulty.  ::)

I was only saying that in my opinion your game is a bit more difficult then the average Mario game. SMB3 is easy if you know a bunch of secrets. I own the game on Wii and know almost all secrets. You can research "secret magic whistles in super Mario bros 3 nes" and then it can be easier to beat with the whistles because they take you to other places thus taking you to the final world.

And when you are passing the game by going to the secrets perhaps by skipping the most of the game then do you really feel that you beat that game?  ::)

I've never beaten your game. I do enjoy it though... It may just be I haven't tried hard enough to beat it.

I think it just be you haven't tried hard enough to beat it. :) I mostly try to beat every new game from Explore that appears and will not quit before I will be successful. One game that is unbeaten by me is a Kaizo Platforio by Seggaw because it does not look very good(complete) and Seggaw also didn't claim himself being beaten his own game by himself in a full test. I also haven't beaten Antikore's game but it looks very good and I have tried it several times before I got bored because of a bug that got me stuck. However, I sure will try it again when Antikore claims himself being beaten his game in a full test.

If you get in a situation that you are not able to beat my game because of a bug that is sure very annoying then please let me know! :) Land of Dreams has been created exactly for them who maybe are interested in one level more than into the other and you can use it also if you have beaten one level and want to see just some news for not beating one old level over and over.

Okay! ;) I see. I've beaten every explore game except for, Invasion: going personal, (land of dreams), and kaizo platforio. I have beaten Antikors game many times. Yu just have to know what to do. Your game appears to be running greatly! I think it should be formatted for exe.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have thought about asking my own EXE for Invasion but I have thought also that my game may not be complete enough to hurry that way but my own EXE would make me feel somehow honored. :D I also will try to beat Antikore's game if you say that you have really beaten it but Antikore really should make this game compatible to a new aspect ratio.

With the last powerful update for Platform Builder, there are also much more things that we can do in addition to the fact that even before it was powerful thing enough to make some special levels to the collection.

The next level that is in my mind is a Power Plant which will include several kinds of obstacles and puzzles from technology. Below you can see what you are going to face in Power Plant.
  • Dropping Poison - Leak on the ceiling which causes additional poison drops falling to the ground. Leak and its drops cause damage to the player, of course.
  • Poisoned liquid - An alternative killing liquid to lava and hot oil without leaving out any existing from my game.
  • Electric field - A small area of the ground where electricity turns on and off after some amount of time. Pass this field when electricity is turned off.
  • Crushers - Ceilings that are moving up and down hurting intruders below.
  • Water control - Go swim and find a way to cause a water flow so it would rise and allow you to swim where you didn't reach to jump before.
  • Bridge control - Hit the lever to cause a bridge moving away from the pit. This pit will be not too deep so you can reveal a new area for yourself.
  • Conditioner engine - is already planned and constructed engine room for cooling. You have to hit the lever to affect the fans so those would blow in a direction that you may need. Using wind power you can do some higher jumps in the same time when moving to the opposite direction with the wind may slow you down a block your way. You also have to control your movement enough so you are not going to move in contact with working fans.
  • Security control - Destroy all missile launchers to allow yourself passing the security door.
I do not promise anything and this is going to take some time probably because of upcoming time limits but I am very sure that those things can be made and I remember that I have felt so also before I made other things. 8)  So if you believe in this and it feels special then stay tuned!

Great! Not sure how you will make most of those things, bit I think it's possible! And since you and me were picked to do beta 6.0!

It is possible. :) Now only water control is left for planning out but I quite a lot imagine how I am going to do it. Then I have to make some quick tests in a full gameplay to be sure that triggering items are going to appear also then when I leave the area or lose and come back later. After that, I am ready to start with a real build in my main project. I also have to draw walls, propellers and more for my custom enemies so they would look as those should be but the system gives a great feeling already.  8)

I only hope that I don't have to use a lot of enemies from the sheet because some more special levels is left after that which may need some extra sheets for making custom stuff... ::)

How big is Invasion going to get? I've always wondered... How many levels do you plan to put into it?

I have no certain plans about how many levels I am going to create but my game sure has 5 worlds. Each world has 1 boss fight level like in SMB but instead of 1 miniboss level, I plan to include 1 special challenge in the middle of the way.
Also, I would like to have 1 secret world which has some extra levels including easter eggs. I want that it would be partly possible to enter the secret world from each regular world and that would reveal something special if you will be able to beat all secret levels from every regular world on. The reward may be one more extra level which maybe will include a secret boss. In addition to a secret world, I plan to include some secret ways so you would be able to skip a few regular worlds or even a special challenge. However, I am not sure if it is possible yet and I am not sure how it exactly will become.
I want to make something special but I don't want to spend too much time on this game so all other levels will be classical and simply made although I plan to make those look good. That is why I also started from the hardest and most important things on. But sure is that I plan to make the same amount of levels for each world and before and after the special level it would be normal to have at least 3 regular levels. :)  But my game is even not Beta yet so there will be a lot to do yet. My game reaches to Beta when all required worlds will be done and/or if the worlds and screens are fully illustrated.

Talking about the Power Plant also, water control has been now planned and constructed. 8)

Great! Glad you got the water control thing taken care of. How did you do it?

Thanks! :) I know how I am going to create full water control because the only way how to do it seems to be duplications like with the alarms in the second boss fight level. That is why I didn't build it fully for learning. However, I planned out some things that do not exist in any previously made levels.
This has water drops which are working like poison drops but those will not harm. I used a custom item for this that gives you nothing and controlled it's creation time, ending and location via "Spawn" objects and a timeline because any item will be not destroyed when touching the ground. I plan to use tileset for drawing a leak for water drops. To make a water flow running directly to inbuilt water I used custom enemies that will not harm you and which are invincible for animated tiles. :)

You can try those additional courses too if you wish.  ::)
