Sprite Animation Sync
« on: April 28, 2019, 08:02:32 PM »
Actually animations are very good, but there is a problem, for example, if you fill the bottom of your course completion with water, when you move a little bit through the level, the animation desyncs, that's why stuff in Platform Builder when they are a little far away from the player and out of the screen, will not move or act until the player arrives. My idea is an option in the sprite that makes its animation synced globally. Instead of each sprite having its own frames independently when using this option, the game will have the frame of that sprite globally indexed...

I don't know if I explain well...

If you have this option for the water, the frame of the animation of the water will be the same for all water sprites, and when a water outside the range of the player, enters the range, the global controller will automatically give it the same frame of the animation than the rest of water sprites.

Hope you understand and hope this will be added to PB in the future.
Sorry because my English is not very good because I'm Spanish ;) :P
