The Graveyard Shift [Side Project]
« on: May 23, 2019, 09:18:15 AM »
The Graveyard Shift
The mankind has been developing incredible industrial advancements, but the radiation in the earth has been increasing over the last century. Year 2177, they name me "The Keeper" and I will help to stop this apocalypse.

Hi! Welcome to this game page. I'm Antikore again. Due to my lack of inspiration in the last months, I will try to do a little project as a side-project for Castle Chamber. I will probably not last a lot to finish this game.

Genre: Action/Survival
Difficulty: Hard [4]

Objective
Survive each night, when mutants and strange monsters will overwhelm you, and you must kill them with your shovel. When the night ends, the next night begins, and stronger enemies will start appearing.

Controls
Arrow keys to move (or the buttons you have selected)
Press the "Use" button to drop a nuke if you have any in your inventory.
Press the "Jump" button to jump, do it in mid-air to do a mid-air jump if you have any on your inventory.
Press the "Attack" button to attack with your shovel.

Features
- Powerups & Items
- Strong enemies
- Blood (Very little)
- Multiple Mechanics
- Feel of insecurity (You will feel nervous but also fun)

Credits
- Inspired by the sploder website game named "The Graveyard Shift" by j0ji

Have a great day (ツ)

I think that was a joke antikore. Unless I'm getting mixed up with McPopato, (I don't know why, but I often get Giz and McPopato mixed up) I think Giz told me he didn't like rage games like Castle Chamber. But, this sounds like a cool game. I also used to use sploder. I made a very bad game called, "Choices, Choices, Choices" on it.

Well, my sploder account wasn't named Antikore, so you will not find me... But I have created over 600 games, I had a period where I was creating games on that page all the time. And from those 600 games, only 3 or 4 are good. Imagine xD

And nope, this is not a joke ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I meant that I think Gizgord was joking. I know your game wasn't a joke.

I will try to make this experience a completely original game from the rest of Platform Builder. By using custom graphics, custom sounds, and using the internal mechanics of Platform Builder to do something great and epic.

Sounds a lot like ASM! Custom stuff. All but the character, (which is modified) and the ground tiles. This looks super cool!

I'd do something like that too if I had the same experience like you did

This looks nice from the picture and from the whole text also but I remember at least 2 other side project by you that I never had a chance to play by myself. :) Please make something and then add some type of demo to Explore for us to play then! ::)
