Sometimes our games are not normal platformers, and probably it has different controls.
For example, this is my actual configuration on controls.

Now imagine my game doesn't use the use item and pick up items buttons for that thing, instead, for example, pick up item can be a button to explode all enemies on screen, in that case, I would like to change the name of the keybinding to Nuke or something like that. Of course, will also be cool a way to put our own controls as default for our games. Both ideas will be awesome.
Sorry because my English is not very good because I'm Spanish ;) :P

that's very minor, but I agree. it could get confusing on what controls what in these types of games.

True. It's going to be confusing with ASM for people who aren't familiar with PB. There are LOTS of functions for different buttons.
