Platform Builer Theories ISSUE 1: 7.0

Okay, 7.0 is going to be an AWESOME update. From what we see, it'll be truly amazing. Everything from BRAND NEW managers, with search bars, ways to sort stuff, the characters have been bumped to 30, all the way to being able to modify the HUD, and do collaboration, 7.0 is certain to be an incredible update. Plus, if TingThing writes 2 more coming soon updates, he will have broken the coming soon update record for news about a future update. So far, he has posted 3. Which is average. The most ever done was 4. So, I hope we get a bit more information about 7.0 before I get to beta test the full thing, and before it comes out.

Things I hope we see in 7.0 which haven't been confirmed:
  • Conditional to check and see what direction the player is facing.
  • Spawning objects over any place, and even IN THE VIEW.
  • Spawning sprites in the view where they follow the camera, and aren't affected by the player.
  • A new command which freezes the game not in steps, but merely does it true/false.
  • Spawn objects at random spawn points including the option of using x and y positioning.
  • Allow the mouse to interact with the HUD/sprites spawned from the view
  • Create command prompts in the sprite editor to do things once the animation ends, or when it begins.
  • Commands to end a sprites animation, begin animation, freeze animation, change sprites collision box, etc.
  • Add character tails which can be turned on/off via commands. (More info here https://theplatformbuilder.com/forums/index.php?topic=1034.0)
  • Blinking commands (More info here https://theplatformbuilder.com/forums/index.php?topic=1018.0)
  • Command blocks that can be interacted only by projectiles, enemies, etc. INCLUDING command blocks which can be interacted with by certain enemies/blocks/projectiles/NPC's/items which we choose when we place the command block. Much like typing up an ID for a spawn block, or character, etc.
  • X and Y positioning so that we can have non-choppy movement when looping movement. This is something that would REALLY help with visuals. Choppy gameplay, is bad gameplay.
These are things that I personally want to see.
Now for things which haven't been confirmed, and aren't likely to make it into 7.0.
  • Customize the GUI
  • Surface Editor
  • Path Creator
  • Command Prompt Search Bars
  • Developers log for explore
  • Layer Editor
Now, those are quite a few things. I doubt half of them will appear in 7.0. But, who knows what TingThing will decide upon.  ;) Lets just hope that the majority of the first list of suggestions gets taken.  :) Until 7.0's release, all we can do is speculate as to what will come, and hope for the best. Until then, this has been a Platform Builder Theories post.

Modify the HUD and Customize GUIs are basically the same thing :)

G.U.I means Graphical User Interface, its another way to talk of hud.
